Looking for places to take LO to see other kids besides daycare

I have a 1 yo and stays home most of the time with DH who works from home. He is cruising and babbling, but I would like him to see other kids who walk and talk. I really would like him at least walking by himself by August as that is when LO#2 is arriving. Are there any places we/I can take him on my days off so he is encouraged by seeing other kids his age besides daycare? We want to try to save as much money as possible. TIA
