12 month boys toy

My son is bored with all his toys and wont even play with them anymore. I am just having a hard time finding anything different that he might like. He has lots of balls, music and light up toys, a push toy, ring toy, and rattles and such. Any good ideas for boys toys at this age? I was thinking maybe blocks, but I dunno those seem boring too. Also my nephew is turning in a few weeks so I am looking for ideas for him also... TIA
