"You Need to Find a Man" Vent

Is it just me or is this the most annoying statement ever?!

My family is completely obsessed with marrying me off it seems. Every time I see my G-Ma she tells me that she's praying that I find a husband. Thanks, but there are more important things you should be praying for me about. My sister tries to set me up with any guy she finds suitable because she wants me to be happy. Hasn't it occurred to anyone that I AM happy?! I don't have to have a boyfriend/husband to be that way. I enjoy having my son to myself and not having to consult with anyone before making a decision that effects him. If someday I find a fella that suits my fancy (I have high standards now that I have a baby), then that's wonderful. If not, I'm perfectly OK on my own.
