infant acid reflux Rx Axid

My son was just prescribed Nizatidine (Axid). I haven't given it to him yet.  I'm concerned about the side effects.  Can anyone share their experiences in giving thier child this med pls? The pharmacist consult only mentioned may cause drowsiness, but Rx info paper includes dizziness, headaches, diarrhea and other poss more serious side effects. I plan on calling pedi, just curious what others have exp.  Thx.
