10 months & middle of night feeding...again

My 10 month old DS has been sleeping from 8pm until 4 or 5am since he was 5 months.  The past three days he has woken up between 1:30 and 3am.  He can't seem to get back to sleep.  Usually, all I need to do is give him his paci and he goes back down.  The past three nights he has been standing up  in his crib and screaming when I go in to check him.  I've tried singing, rocking, but the only thing that gets him back down is a bottle.  He takes 6-8oz and then goes back down.  He still looks for a bottle when he gets up for good at 6 or 6:30 and takes another 6-8oz.  My DH says I shouldn't feed him in the middle of the night, but I don't know what else to do to get him to go back down.  My DH sleeps through it all, but I lie awake listening to him scream.  Any suggestions?  Am I wrong to feed him if that calms him down?
