10 month old won't stand

When I try to put her in a standing position she pulls her legs up.  I always thought it was a natural reaction for babies to put their feet down and try to stand.  She hasnt done it since she was a really young baby.  I'm starting to get worried about it.  Would you be concerned or does it just sound like she's lazy?
