I don't know if you're aware but Rochester state Senator James Alesi (Republican) is considered a potential swing vote for the same-sex marriage bill this week.  If this bill passes it means my family will be one step closer to being equal in the eyes of the law.

I've written to Senator Alesi, but I know the most impactful statements are those that come from his own constituents.  If you feel inclined, please take a moment to ask the Senator to support equal rights for all New Yorkers.  Here is his website with an easy fill-in form contact application.
