Anyone get rid of a pet because of LO?

We love our two dogs to death. DH and I agree tha the only reason we would get rid of them is if they try to hurt LO. The one dog is never bothered by LO and is totally cool with him. The other one has growled at him, snapped his teeth, and tried to bite him a couple of times. While the dog has never actually bit LO, I dont want to wait till he does. LO never hit the dog- he just plays close to the dog. Has anyone elsebeen inthis situation and how do resolve it?
