Making sure it's still normal

So my little guy is still waking up serveral times a night (usually 3 or 4, sometimes more).  He's nine months now.  This is still normal, right? I'm not doing something wrong? We have a great routine and he's napping much better, but he still wants to nurse and eat at night or needs a cuddle to go back to sleep.  I'm hoping I get a flood of responses saying you're in the same boat.
