Babies: 9 - 12 Months
Carson Henry, born 39w, 2d via emergency c/s due to no fetal movement and fetal distress. Seizures 6 hours after birth. Complete clot in the brachial artery in his right arm. IVH grade 2. Brain, kidney and liver injuries. 27 day NICU stay. At 2 years, has been discharged from nearly all specialists (kidneys will continue to be monitored). Tough little guy who defied his grim prognosis and is going great!
Let's talk party favors
These are my favorite part of the party. What are you giving out? Will you have kid and adult favors?
I started a little tradition with Gavin of giving away small "themed" rubber duckies. They have them to fit any party on orientaltrading.com. We had a halloween party when he was 10 months and did halloween ones, I got christmas ones for all his friends and party hat ones for his birthday. He had construction worker duckies at his 2nd birthday party. For Carson's party (lion theme) I am going to get the safari animals duckies as part of the favor.
I think I am going to do lion stickers and a small plush lion as part of the favor bag.
I am also toying with the idea of personalized m&m's for the adults.
