I know this is probably a long shot since apparently only about 5% of pregnant women get them.
Pyogenic granuloma is basically just a growth (it's not pretty) of blood vessels that bleeds very easily. It kind of looks like a red wart. I've been having frequent nosebleeds during this pregnancy and noticed that I had a growth inside of my nose. I went to an ENT to have it checked out and he told me it was granuloma. My OB is advising that we don't remove it before I have the baby due to the risks. I'm okay with that, it's just irritating because it's hard for me to breathe due to the blockage and it bleeds a lot!
My question is: If anyone had one when they were pregnant, did it go away on its on post pregnancy? My OB said there's a good chance it will...and I'm hoping she's right.
