Do you ever compliment other parents?

We all know there's a lot of judging going on around here, right from 1st tri on up. Have you ever complimented a parent/stranger for doing something you approve of?

I was in line at Target one day, and a mom was with a son about 6yrs old. He was pestering her about some game cards, that he had snuck into the cart from the aisle about 10 ft away. She very calmly but firmly reminded him she said no when they passed the aisle and made him go put the cards back; and he looked disappointed but there was no fuss and he simply went and did it. I let her know that it was awesome that she stood her ground and that she seemed to be doing a great job and DH and I hoped to be there someday. She mentioned that it took a lot of work but it was worth it by this point.
