Backpack harness/leash

I am thinking we might want one for Disney....I just can't see him sitting in the stroller or holding a hand 100% of the time. Losing him freaks me the heck out, so I think a leash is in order!

I really wanted the Mickey backpack one but really think $25 or more is too much. I may not even use it! 

Do you think the one with the stuffed critter on the back would be too hot? I saw one on BRU that was just a harness, no animal....and only $6! Would that be better?

I decided my peace of mind and his safety trumps anyones looks.....this is one of the "I would never do______"!
