Holy mackeral- we bought a house!

We've been negotiating forever.  The couple is getting divorced and they were difficult - I guess the split is nasty.  We were told it was over and they rejected our offer.  We gave up and started all over looking.  But after 3 months of silence, I just got the call that the house is ours if we want it

Is it normal to have a panic attack now?  Holy #%@&   -  I've lived in NYC apartments for 20 years.  I have to take care of a lawn?  Live in a place without honking horns?  What is quiet?  I'm scared to be in a house by myself!  Oh yeah- and I've had handymen in apartment buildings fix everything.  I don't know how to do anything and neither does DH.   At least we won't be living in a one bedroom, 650 sq. ft. apartment with 4 of us much longer!  It's been hard.

Any words of advice?  I know nothing about home ownership!

Ok breathe in...breathe out.  Gotta call the mortgage guy now.
