Anyone's LO not like finger foods or anything truly solid?

My little babe is 9.5 months old and will NOT eat anything except his pureed  baby foods.  I make it chunky with some baby cereal but that is about the most texture he can handle.  Will not even eat Puffs!! I try to give him food and he keeps his mouth shut and won't even try it.  Or he just plays with it on the tray.

My older two kids had no problem eating puffs and soft foods at this age - I am getting tired of making and feeding purees.  Thoughts? Ideas?
