XP: I need advice

My dd has never been a good sleeper, but it has really gone to crap lately.  We just recently (like within the week) started to transition her to her crib from the Rock n Play that was beside our bed.  She did ok the first two nights, but now I am having the hardest time getting her down for naps and bedtime. She nurses to sleep, I wait a few minutes, then try to put her down in the crib.  She wakes up.  Every time.  Is crying it out my only option?
