the net thing you put food in...

I'm drawing a blank and cant remember what they are called but anyways.  (I'm talking about the thing with the net with the handle...kinda looks like a popsicle to me LOL)  anyways... who uses these? how do they work, you just throw some chunks of fruit or veg in there and let LO gnaw on it??  I know its probably a really dumb question but im asking anyway...
