If a nine month old doesn't nap often and is up late every night, do you think they are just a bad sleeper or not stimulated enough during the day to sleep well at night?

What if it's a preschool age child?

Just want to hear your opinions on why some children just don't sleep. Thankfully DD naps twice a day and sleeps 10 hours at night.
