Hand, Foot and Mouth

Hey ladies,

I just need to vent and to get this off my chest, 

I am irrationally annoyed that Noah has Hand, Foot and Mouth virus. I am wondering where he picked it up and then I recall the times that he has licked the front door or the grocery store floor LOL.

Apparently, there is an outbreak in my community. His daycare says he has to be out for the rest of the week, the doctor said he is likely no longer contagious and if he wasn't already exposed at the nursery then he has already exposed the other children. And that in essence the virus is no more dangerous than the common cold and as long as he is comfortable and no longer feverish he should be allowed to go to nursery. 

I am frustrated because, he isn't even acting sick and I have to scramble to find alternative care. I do not feel comfortable taking time off at my job and my hubby just started a new position.

Arghh! Anyone feel like offering sympathy? Also, if your LO had it did you use regular baby lotion to keep his skin mosturised? I completely forgot to ask the doctor this afternoon.
