My kid WILL NOT sleep past 5am....

and I'm dying.  No matter what time he goes to bed, his internal clock wakes him up at 5:09am every.single.day.  And now, he's started refusing to be put in his crib...will be dead asleep on me and as soon as his head touches the mattress he's screaming his head off.  We've been doing a modified CIO approach for a LOOOONNNNNG time, and he'll just cry and cry and cry, so it's not working for us.  I've tried putting him awake, putting him asleep, with music, without, blackout curtains, light...every freaking thing, but he will not budge.  Any advice, seriously, anything, is greatly appreciated at this point!
