How much whole milk?

What is the daily routine supposed to be with whole milk? Are they supposed to take in the same amount as they do with a bottle? Im going to start introducing it this week in her bottle with a mixture of formula and hope in 2 weeks to be full WCM in a sippy cup but wondering about how much. Just offer when she wakes, then afternoon then one before bedtime and water with meals as she does now? Also when can we start switching to 2% milk, I believe I read after 1 year on WCM but not sure. TIA
