Baby's feet are sideways while walking?

Hi! My son is almost 11 months old. He loves to walk around the house using a baby walker for support. I have noticed that when he walks his feet are not straight forward, but they are pointed outward and sideways instead. This only occurs while he's walking. His feet are straight forward when he is sitting down. My mother in-law seems to think that this is somewhat abnormal. I'm now kind of concerned but I think that eventually his feet will straighten out and point forwards as he grows older. Does anyone else have a baby whose feet are like this when they walk? Is this normal?
