DS won't stop screaming!!!

DS has started to do this piercing scream off and on throughout the day.

He doesn't do it when there is anything wrong, more like when he isn't the center of attention, sometimes when we are feeding him, if we take an extra second or two to give him a bite.

 It's becoming a really big issue.  Don't get me wrong, I know babies cry, scream and all that stuff, but this is outside of the normal stuff.  It's also not like we don't give him attention. 

Anyone else dealt with this and what did you do to make it stop?
