Talk to me about sunscreen

So my pedi isn't in her office on Fridays. I very much dislike her "sub", so i'm not going to call.

Anyway, we are going to the lake on Sunday, and for a week to Rhode Island in July. I have heard so many mixed stories on baby sunscreen. Can you tell me what you all have learned?

I intend to keep him shaded, but i still would like the extra protection if possible.
