possible allergy?

T woke up Wednesday morning and the skin surrounding both her eyes were all flaky (dry skin-ish) and a little red (think raccoon).  Yesterday they didn't look dry but were very red all day long. Any of you ladies ever see something like this? Could this be some signal of an allergy?  We've had no issues with food, all I can think is possibly enviromental issue since we are outside a ton now.
