walking worries

My dd recently started using her walker and "walking" it around the living room. I noticed that when she walks she keeps her right foot pointed out to the side when she steps. We go to the dr for her nine month visit tomorrow so I will ask him but I was wondering if any of you ladies had any experience with this. Is it just because she is too young to use the walker? My mother thinks that she is going to need to wear a brace so now I am stressing out.
