Is my DD a genius, or average?

If we hand my 9.5 month old things that are upside down she will turn them right side up (books, cell phone etc.). I think she's been doing this for a couple of weeks now. Is this completely normal at this age, or is this something that usually comes a little later? I'm not sure why I'm so shocked that she does this, could be totally normal at this age--I'm just impressed.
