Hi Ladies -
I don't actualy have a LO yet but I am staying with my friend's LO next week while she is out of town. Here is my issue. She lives in the city in a high-rise and she also has a dog. The dog needs to be taken out quickly at night (8 pm) but the little one is asleep by 6:30. It is an elevator ride to get downstairs. She leaves the LO in his crib (sleeping) and takes the dog each night - probably 10 minutes or less. I am really uncomfortable doing this. I am not sure how to make this work and/or tell her I am uncomfortable. She'll think I am judging her. Should I just wake the baby and take him with when it is time to go out or should I follow the normal routine?
LO is 17 months, walking but can't get himself out of the crib yet.
