any babies 8.5 mos, self-weaning?

Eva is 8.5 months and is ridiculous when it comes to food. She will eat and eat solids til she's full and then not want a bottle or bf,. If I cut her off and offer her a bottle or bf she will drink just a bit and stop. But then whine for more solids.

She is also particular about HOW she wants her solids. She rejects purees for the most part and wants to feed herself chunked food. Is this normal for this age? She seems young to be rejecting milk (and purees, she only has her 2 bottom teeth).
