If your LO falls asleep on their own

at home with no rocking/bouncing/holding, does that all go out the window when you are visiting with family or on vacation?

DD has been able to falls asleep on her own no problem within a few minutes for a few months now but almost every time we go visit family, she will just not fall asleep on her own! Once we finally get her asleep, she STTN but its just so hard! I'm talking of taking anywhere's from 30 minutes to an hour or more to get her to sleep! When we come back home though, it goes back to normal usually by the second day of being home or so.

I know its a different environment and different bed and stuff but we were at my inlaws for a full week and I would have thought she would have settled in by the end of the week.. I do bring her lovey and sleep sheep and even her blanket but nothing works..
