My family was always extremely poor.  I think some people gain empathy that way, but others just get angry, resentful, and rely on racial/social stereotypes as scapegoats for their problems.  My mom is like that.  Hispanics, Obama, and the govt are to blame for her financial problems.

It's kinda sad to see our generation is doing the same BS.
