peanut butter and sippy cups....

my daughter is 9.5 months old, when is it ok to try peanut butter with her?

I was also wondering about sippy cups. she has a nuby sippy cup and uses it (shes not a pro - she still gets distracted once in a while and chews on the spout - but shes alright) im trying to get her off of her bottle so that its not hell later on. i plan on giving her a sippy in place of her bottle once a day for a week and then adding 2 sippys the next week and so on and so on until shes off the bottle.

Every once in a while I read how giving a sippy is just like giving a bottle...so Im now wondering, should I just give her a cup or a cup with a straw and avoid the sippy cup all together? I dont think its that bad for a 1 and 2 year old to be drinking out of a sippy cup...but Im not too sure.
What did you girls do??
