Poor DH - my six year old has black eyes to match mine

I took a baby-head to the nose on Sunday.  It's not broken, but I've got 2 black eyes.  Tuesday, my six year old was running in gym class and was pushed from behind.  He fell flat on his face...bloody nose, gash on the bridge from his glasses and glasses bent out of shape.  He's now sporting a pair of black eyes too.  I feel bad for DH, because I know what it must look like.  

When I went to the doctor, he gave me every opportunity to tell him that my husband was beating me.  My hairdresser yesterday said, "he's not beating you, right?"
