Ok, so I am looking into CD for Charlotte. We are having trouble with blowout poops and I am hoping that this might help. Originally I was pretty reluctant but I am apparently easily swayed because I have been reading younghouselove.com and they recently did a summary and I was like, ?Hmm? maybe that wouldn?t be so bad.? Anyhow, I have been reading the CD board and it all seems a bit overwhelming. I am really looking into the bumGenius Elemental all-in-one. I am meeting with a local woman tonight about trying this out, but I have a giant list of questions:

Do you use all-in-ones, pockets, prefolds? What do you like and why?

How many diapers do I need, figuring we go through 7-8 disposables a day?

Do you use a wet bag? Do I need more than one?

What detergent do you use?

You can?t use any diaper cream right? Any other glaring no-nos?

Have you ever had to ?strip? your diapers

How do they fit with LO?s clothes? Do you find them to be a lot bulkier than disposables? Are you buying larger sizes that you would be if you used disposables?

After washing, are you left with a ?funky? odor? How do you fix this?
