menu help for Evan's birthday party

We are going to do a cookout for Evan's party, but I want it to be a little nicer than just hot dogs and hamburgers.

I know I am going to do some gourmet burgers (w/ stuff mixed right in the patty) on homemade brioche rolls... applewood smoked bacon and cheddar, mushrooms caramelized onions and swiss and maybe a bleu cheese one too.

And we are going to have chicken spiedies (all you binghamton ladies know those!)

But, I can't think of any good sides to serve. I want to do something besides pasta or potato salad and baked beans (although, I'm sure my gram will bring beans anyways!

Anyone have any good ideas and/or recipes?
