Daycare just called and S bit a friend at school. (In her defense, he had whacked her with a toy train first.)
It's the first time, and I'm hoping the last. Just wondering if any of you have dealt with biting and found something that worked to stop it. The lady that keeps her (she's at a home daycare) suggested putting cocoa powder in her mouth as a punishment (I guess b/c it's bitter??...though I'm not convinced she won't like it and bite again for more ). I'm not into the "bite her back" thing, as I don't want to model a behavior I'm telling her is bad. Thoughts?
