NKR: House color ?

We are having our house painted later this summer (outside) and the painter wants us to decide on a color soonish.  We do not want to live in this house for more than a couple of years (I would like to move tomorrow),  so I would like to pick something that appeals to other buyers.  The painter said browns, greens and greys are the most popular right now.  I like blueish-greys.  What do you think is a good house color?  Oh, the house is a small ranch with a black roof.  Thanks!
