Does anyone have a Goldendoodle?

We said goodbye to our elderly Boston Terrier last week, leaving our Basset as the only dog. She has never been alone, ever. I know I'm not ready yet to get a puppy right away, however, I found a local Goldendoodle breeder who is accpting deposits on a litter due in June, and will get to go home end of Aug. All the parents are health screened and tested for tons of health issues. This is the only breed DH and I can agree on, light shedding, "not a little yappy dog" (his words) and great with kids.

Does anyone have one, or know one? I want to hear the good, the bad and the ugly! And why the he!! are they so expensive? I didn't spend that much on my first 2 cars put together! lol
