Parents Age vs. Your Age

The toy poll got me thinking about the difference in my parents ages when they started a family as opposed to mine and DH's.  My parents had my sister when they were 22, and me at 24.  I turned 27 9 days have Jules was born and DH was almost 30.  It was always nice that my parents were young but I couldn't imagine having a 5 year old right now if I had had a baby at 22!

I'm curious if there's a trend to this.  I know there has been research about teenage parents.  

What about anyone else?
