Yes, another Sesame Place post! lol

We are contemplating a midweek trip there, probably 3 days in June. I'm just wondering if it is worth it to plan through their site as far as hotels are concerned. Has anyone found other hotels that are reasonable and still near everything? Also if you have a hotel that you loved can you tell me which one and why?

Also, what other area attractions are there? I've never been to this area before so I have no clue what is close by.

I'm also willing to entertain suggestions of other trips to take from the Albany NY area that are within a 3-4 hour drive! Thanks!
