Anyone's LO have pink eye before?

What does it start out like?

I've had it myself over the years, but wonder if it's different with the LOs?

E's got a reddish irritation in the outside corner of her eyelids, next to her eye...not her eyeball. It hasn't gotten any worse and it was there all day yesterday. Hard thing is she won't let me get a good look at it! So far no gooey stuff either.

Yesterday I had her put a warm compress on it...that last for a few seconds...then she started cleaning the floors with it. I LOVE this age!!!
