Ugh, change of plans...

A little update from my post yesterday - I told the groom that we'd prefer the house, but if they didn't have time to get everything done before we get there (in 2 days!) that we'd make the apartment work.  DH gets home and I told him what was going on and he tells me that he got a text from his cousin (the groom) saying that he was sure they could get everything ready for us in the house by Thursday and that Thursday night they were going to have a party there to show off the new house - and have kegs!  Um, hello???  We're supposed to be staying there...with our 3 year old.  So now, with just a couple days until we get there, we have to try to find a hotel to accommodate us and my MIL.  This feels like it's heading for a disaster.
