I saw your question about the lens, but wasn't sure if you'd check there. I bought the 50mm f/1.8 - the "thrifty fifty" - but it's not (at least around here and where I could find it online) $100 anymore.

Apparently prices went up with the tsunami. I was able to find it for $138 with free shipping on Amazon. That was the best deal I'd seen in a while, so I just went ahead and bought it.
