When did RE release you?

I go back to my RE a week from today and she said she could release me then, if everything looked okay.  She said she normally keeps a patient until 8 weeks, so I could stay if I wanted.  I'm not for sure what I want to do.  In a way, I kind of want to stay until 8 weeks so I can have an ultrasound every week to put my mind at ease.
