XP: New crib safety standards (this just bugs me)

So according to what this (http://www.cpsc.gov/onsafety/2011/03/the-new-crib-standard-questions-and-answers/ ) says every crib sold before June 28, 2011 is unsafe.  So the crib I just bought that was certified as safe is now unsafe?  This kind of crap just irks me, my gut says BS this is just bureaucracy at it's finest. Thoughts?
