Rochester Museum and Science Center?

Thinking of braving the crowds and heading to Rochester today.  I think we are going to start att he RMSC and then finish up at the Museum of Play.  We have been to the Play museum, but not theRMSC.  Are there on the same side of town?  Does the Science center have a good place for lunch?  Any hints/tricks I  may want to know about the RMSC before we go?  TIA  We went down to Binghamton yesterday to the Discovery center and Ty did NOT like it, so hopefully today will go btter.
