do you buy toys for no reason

or do you wait until holidays?  My kids have a lot of toys.  I buy throughout the year if I see something I think they will like or if it's on sale.  I am probably spoiling them but they aren't asking for stuff and throwing tantrums in stores.  I was just wondering what everyone else does.
