We had B's birthday party on Saturday and we had a bunch of different aged kids. I guess it's just natural for people to say " When my son/daughter was that age I did this...." Well a couple of family members were questioning why we don't give B juice. She drinks water mostly with her normal 3 bottles of formula before naps/bed. My aunt went to fill her sippy and put in apple juice, and I said that she likes water. More than 1 person told me that I should talk with the pediatrician about adding juice to her sippys for the nutrients? B's eating fruit, I just figure she's getting the fiber AND the juice that way. Is it that weird we don't give her juice. I never thought to offer it too her before. We probably will when she can ask for it, but for now, water seems to be fine.
I know I should just stop listening to people but it gets me thinking.
