Anyone use those pull string pinata's?

do they work? We are having several kids of all ages at her birthday party on Saturday and I wanted to have something for the older kids but not something that they need to swing a bat at! So I see they sell those pull string pinata's...Thoughts?

And pray that the weather cooperates:) I invited 40 people and everyone is coming. That never happens. But we are expecting 15 kids under the age of 15 so I'm hoping we can play a little outside. Right now they are saying 58 and sunny!!! I hope they aren't wrong...
