Starting to look for a babysitter - $?

Just so DH and I can go out for a few hours - after the kids go to bed.

So basically it would just be someone sitting and watching TV with the ability to call 911 and grab the kids if there is a fire. We'd need them to be older since the hours would be like 9pm - 12+ We'd probably want them to drive themselves too.

How much per hour would you offer for that??

I emailed a girl that used to work for me a long time ago when I was a supervisor at Darien Lake...she's in Grad School - so I'm hoping she'd be interested in extra cash! I'd loooove to not have to just pluck a stranger out of thin air. We have a few girls we know that are younger (and that I may use as Mommy's helpers here and there...grooming them to be future sitters...but we need a solution for right now)
